Are there any summons or help of any kind?

Hi all! Please don't downvote me I know most people hate any help but Bloodborne was one of the first souls games I actually tried but a while back I just found it too difficult. I have played Elden Ring but used summons (Mimic Tear) and then I played the soulslike Lies of P and used specters. I want to play the game but I kinda prefer having some help. Is it beat for this game? I know there is coop but no one ever joins
