Blokada normal VPN vs Blokada Tunnel VPN

Hi guys.
Blokada works by using a VPN, but they also offer Blokada Tunnel which is a VPN as far as I can gather. Why would I pay for the tunnel VPN, when they already use a VPN in their standard software? Is it faster or more secure?
