Post Body

This is in ffmpeg format I was rendering animations for a video and I found that I had completely overwritten multiple multi hour rendering animations, for this video. When I tested what it was I saw it overwrite previous video files, of course now I just name my files instead of leaving them 0030-800 or something like that. My question is why is this part of blender it’s incredibly frustrating because I had no idea and it will take days to re render all of those videos.
