Interesting difference between Shinigami and Arrancar Zanpakuto

Arrancars can't seem to release their Zanpakuto if it's been broken. But Shinigami can release their Zanpakuto for both Shikai and Bankai even if it is broken.

Just imagine if Ichigo had broken Ulquiorra's Murciélago in time when using the unreleased Getsuga.

No Resurrección, no Segunda Etapa. No release outside Las Noches.

If Lilynette gets sliced in half, then he probably can't use Resurreccion.

A thought: an Arrancar can't use Resurrección if the zanpakutō is broken - like, snapped totally in half.

So, what about Baraggan? His axe needs to be chopped by the handle? The top? Can it be chipped?

Better yet: Lilynette. Make a Gin and Stark can't use Los Lobos? Or just his katana?
