In the Ichigo vs Yhwach battle, Ichigo made an assumption that there had to be a limit to the Almighty's ability. Since, if he truly could see everything in the future, then there would be no reason for Yhwach to block attacks. He would just plant traps whenever Ichigo got close. Yhwach also made a note that the Almighty's power isn't the power to see into the future; it's the power to transform the future. So maybe all that he's doing is just creating a possibility that will happen. No reason to even see the future if you're the one who always decides on what will happen anyway. This would explain why Aizen's illusions worked on him; because Yhwach was deciding a future based on what he's presently seeing, not what he was foreseeing in the future. This would also explain how Uryu managed to shoot his arrow through Yhwach from behind; because Yhwach didn't presently noticed him in order to decide a future. This power makes it seem like Yhwach is foreseeing the future, but he's actually just making the future himself. Even if one could see the future, it doesn't mean they can control it. And this is what Yhwach told Ichigo, that one could always grow and mature during a fight causing the future the shift, hence the grains of sand speech. Yhwach creates his own future, so that he'll always know what's going to happen. Not relying on hope to settle things, as it may or may not work. Yhwach, being heavily afraid of death, wasn't planning on making any risks. And this translates to his soul's power.
But I know what you may use to counter-argue this. With Yhwach's saying he saw that Ichigo's power was indeed formidable that he no longer had room to make any mistakes. Many people think he's talking about his Bankai; but Yhwach was only referring to Ichigo's strength general. Yhwach was using the Almighty because he acknowledged Ichigo's present power.
Another thing you might also use to make a counter-argument is Yhwach finishing Ichibe's speech at the same time he did. But again, that may be Yhwach creating a future in which Ichibe would say those final words. This again makes Yhwach seem like he's seeing into the future.
What do you think?
Wouldn't that make Yhwach admonishing speech to Luders just, pointless?
Or pointing out that the Soul King has an even better sight (possible four irises) than him.
Although..
Yhwach creates his own future, so that he'll always know what's going to happen. Not relying on hope to settle things, as it may or may not work. Yhwach, being heavily afraid of death, wasn't planning on making any risks.
The "Quincy stand for cold pragmatism" supports this. Not unknown variables, but what WILL happen. Moreover, that would make Aizen final statement more powerful - courage and hope in presence of the inevitable.
But, other than that, I (mostly) disagree. Doesn't seem that convoluted.
...maybe?
