Tier 0 crew wants to rebuild the ruined library above their underground lair - curious thoughts on this method for a long term project
Post Body

Hey all!

Super excited that my players are getting really into the cult crew, they decided last session that they want to rebuild this ruined library that they have their lair in.

It’s barely standing, so in the fiction it’ll be a ton of work. I really want it to be a satisfying thing for them to accomplish and describe as it comes together over the course of our game.

Obviously this seems like it would use long term project clocks, wanted to ask if my approach was too long or appropriate for the job.

My idea was to have an 8 segment clock for the foundation, a 6 segment clock for the exterior and structure, and a 4 segment clock for the interior. That general structure seems like it would be fun because the clocks get shorter as they go and we can talk about the work they’re doing on it.

Since they’re a cult, I think this would be an absolutely perfect Sanctuary claim for them - they just took control of a huge local apt building from the Billhooks so they’ve just got an Offertory.

I think I’ll make sure to give them the chance to get a lot of coin now that they have this Offertory, with some fun occult scores and highlighting that they can get an extra downtime if they spend their coin.

Just a side note - cannot say enough how much I love how Blades guides the game with the claim charts, the pre written score ideas, contacts built into playbooks - just so good.
