Why did Luv do what she did?

Why does she kill Joshi and Coco? Like what purpose do their deaths even serve to her? And I don’t understand why she goes from happily giving K a tour of the facility in the building to helping him in the battlefield while launching rockets to then trying to kill him towards the end. Is this all like just to show she’s a villain or is there something I’m missing here? Wasn’t her and Wallace’s objective to propagate replicants? I must have missed some of the plot or something.
