Hi, im trying to start blacksmithing and hopefully i'll be ready to actually start soon. But in the mean time i have a question about a hammer. So from what i understand i need a 2-3 lb cross pein hammer so i headed off to home depot where i found this hammer and i bought it but now that i got home im not sure that what i bought is the best to start out with. My concern being that it seems to buldge a slight bit out(meaning it doesnt seem fully flat) and i also do not know if the circle pattern is an issue opposed to a completely flat square. So my question is did I screw up?, should i return it and find a diffrent one or does it not really matter.
