We will be in San Diego next week April 11-16 on business and as a former resident of a clothing optional Community in Tampa and regulars at beaches around Florida and Laguna Del Sol here in Sacramento we are very interested in making it to Black's Beach. While we regularly ride our WaveRunners and wouldn't hesitate to jump on a bike and ride 20 miles, old joints are less certain on rough Terrain. Just yesterday in San Francisco we walked a mile and a half from Chinatown mostly uphill to our hotel on Van Ness. Does anyone have any information on comparable hikes that would help us decide on the GliderPort trail versus the others that involve the beach at low tide? I have made several searches of this sub looking for the information and while there are many references to some finding it rough and others having no issue there's nothing I've been able to find as a comprable statement.
