So far, Arena mode in BO3 hasn't been up to par with the previous iteration of treyarch's ranked playlist, League Play from BO2. Though it was not without flaws, I still found League Play to be quite enjoyable, as it still was fair, and it matched you up against people of approximately your skill level for most people. However, in my opinion(and a lot of competitive call of duty fans too), Arena mode has several problems that makes it unenjoyable.

1)Doesn't match you up against people of your rank- People who are rank 8s are matched up against people who are rank 1s. Playing people around your skill level is ESSENTIAL and should be prioritized more in matchmaking. If everybody plays everybody, that makes ranking up unrewarding and difficult.

2)Low Probation times- The initial probation times need to be higher than they currently are in order to punish leaving since people still leave pretty often. I would suggest the initial probation time be around 15-20 minutes

3)Ruleset- Since the arena ruleset is the CWL ruleset, things like shock charges, sixth sense, awareness, etc. are still allowed in arena. This makes arena incredibly unfun when people are using them since of how they lower the skill gap. When the pros play, they play either the GB or UMG ruleset instead of CWL which have these things banned, or they have gentlemen's agreements. The point of arena is to have a way to an easy way to play like the pros do, and currently you can't do that. Please treyarch, make sure all three rulesets are the same.

4)Ranking system- I don't currently like how there are no placement matches. What this does is that it makes it so all the good people are stuck in the low ranks since they are playing other good people too, the people who are high ranks aren't the best players, they are the people that either played a shit ton, or played in a team. If you want to play solo you're not going to be ranked as good as you are.

5)Favors playing with a team too much- If you want to be the highest rank, you have no chance doing that solo. Since a team of 4 solo players and a team that is all in one party is considered to be just as good, the ranking system is incredibly biased against solo players rank-wise.

Additional suggest: If you pretty much copy and pasted league of legend's elo ranking system, you would make a lot of people VERY HAPPY. It is so good at ranking you that the top rank(challenger) is mostly made up pro-level players. People get recruited to high level teams straight from the ranked playlist because of how good it is at determining how good you are. I don't know if treyarch will be able to change the ranking method much, but I just wanted to toss this out there.

Hopefully treyarch sees this and improves arena.
