Crappy Cell Phone Video
Post Body

I recently posted about the need to try and repair very pixelated cell phone video. I have noticed that most (if not all) of the videos that are pixelated have been texted to me; I do not think any that were emailed had the same problem (at least, not to an extreme extent). Does anyone know for certain if video that is emailed should be of higher quality (i.e. less compressed) than if it's texted?

I am aware this is a video sub; I will be editing all of the aforementioned videos together.

Edit: for reference, my system specs are as follows:

  • Windows 10, Ryzen 7 3700x cpu, Radeon 5700x gpu, 32GB ram
  • DaVinci Resolve 18
