A few issues with DR16

Switching from Adobe to BMD to save some pennies and I've noticed a few things.

Frequent crashes doing different tasks (color grade, time remap, cutting clips) For specs in running a Dell XPS 15, with 1 TB SSD, Nvidia 1660, current drivers installed, 32 gb @ 2666 ram.
My audio tracks have lost the waveform visuals. Tried restarting DR and rebooting the laptop. Makes it hard to edit audio when you can't see the audio and have to base everything on sound.
No GPU accelerated export for the free version? Is that studio only for windows machines?
