I post nudes on other subreddits for fun sometimes. It’s probably not for the best but I do. For whatever reason this guy decides it’s his duty to tell me I’m not black and that “I’m a white girl because I look white”. The thing is I fucking don’t. Sure, I’m rather light skinned because I’m part Colombian on my dad’s side but I can’t even pass as Hispanic irl. No one sees me anything other than what I am, which is black.
I get identified as a black man half of the time at both my jobs by white people. Get seen as a threat/not feminine/suspicious and yet somehow I’m now apparently not “black looking enough”.
I know it doesn’t really matter and that guy is just being an ass but it really stings to be call the same as the white folks that view me as a threat just because I’m lightskin.
