Voting is coming up really fast and I still have no idea how to vote! I recently moved to Florida and due to circumstances out of my control was never able to get a FL driverās license/FL ID before covid made it impossible to get a dmv appointment.
The only legal identification I have on me is my ssn and my passport and I donāt know if thatās enough. I really want to vote. Iām 19 and I feel like all my close in age cousins brush off voting as a āwhite peopleā thing, when in actuality itās what we as black people need to utilize to make our voices heard.
Has anyone just used their passport/social to vote without having a DL/state ID?? How did that work?
