Should we be more empathetic towards problematic black women?
Post Body

I was reading about how Azealia Banks plans to sue Russell Crowe, and I’ve seen a lot of people across the internet say she’s lying for clout. I know she’s super problematic, but I don’t think she’s lying either. I’ve noticed that whenever something happens to a unfavorable black female public figure, everyone is quick to call her a liar and an attention seeker. Their claims aren’t taken seriously because the general public doesn’t like them. Similar things happened to Gabby Douglas. Am I alone in thinking we should be more empathetic towards these ladies, even if they’re problematic? This is my first time posting here, so mods feel free to remove this post if it breaks rules or doesn’t belong.
