There’s been some tension at work and I’m the only one that wants to address it directly. I tell my manager about three times, then he decides that he’s gonna have a meeting to talk about everything. But no, all of them were talking like everything was perfect and I’m just such textbook corporate terms. I’ve heard everyone here complain about everyone and how they want things to change and how they’re tired of certain things.

My boss said that he “Didn’t plan to get into the weeds” this has happened twice now where we have a team meeting and I’m the only one that voices my gripes.

Work doesn’t have to be hell. We all work within ten feet of each other. The tension shows in our work towards each other. We need to address it directly. I told them that this meeting didn’t address what we really needed to talk about. My boss played dumb, as if that’s not the entire reason he made this meeting happen. He offered it to me as a solution and I said yes because I thought it would work. My coworker even said he was going to address something specific in the meeting, and it’s like he switched gears as soon as it started.

I don’t know if I’ll still have my job. I don’t think I was aggressive, yeah I raised my tone at times but I was just talking, not yelling. This meeting took place after hours so I just said I’m going home.

I’m just so frustrated. It’s just a dumb job like why are we making this more complicated. I’m currently looking for another job though. I loved it, but they made me feel so uncomfortable today.
