Thereās been some tension at work and Iām the only one that wants to address it directly. I tell my manager about three times, then he decides that heās gonna have a meeting to talk about everything. But no, all of them were talking like everything was perfect and Iām just such textbook corporate terms. Iāve heard everyone here complain about everyone and how they want things to change and how theyāre tired of certain things.
My boss said that he āDidnāt plan to get into the weedsā this has happened twice now where we have a team meeting and Iām the only one that voices my gripes.
Work doesnāt have to be hell. We all work within ten feet of each other. The tension shows in our work towards each other. We need to address it directly. I told them that this meeting didnāt address what we really needed to talk about. My boss played dumb, as if thatās not the entire reason he made this meeting happen. He offered it to me as a solution and I said yes because I thought it would work. My coworker even said he was going to address something specific in the meeting, and itās like he switched gears as soon as it started.
I donāt know if Iāll still have my job. I donāt think I was aggressive, yeah I raised my tone at times but I was just talking, not yelling. This meeting took place after hours so I just said Iām going home.
Iām just so frustrated. Itās just a dumb job like why are we making this more complicated. Iām currently looking for another job though. I loved it, but they made me feel so uncomfortable today.
