So I was listening to The Beatles with my toddler the other night when the classic song 'Something' came on...I didn't realize until that moment but I never heard the original version of this song. BUT I knew every word of it because I grew up listening to Musiq Soulchild's version which is so soulful and it struck me that its better than original IMO.

It got me thinking how fun it would be to create a thread of our favorite remakes by Black artists that turn out to be superior to the original version of the song. GO!!!
