Blackjack and the casual audience
Post Body

Hello friends

I am a game developer and I'm very interested in the game of blackjack. I am aware that films about blackjack and counting cards are unrealistic in most cases, but even so they draw in an audience and they are fun to watch.

I wanted to ask the pros, what do you enjoy about blackjack? Is blackjack fun? how would you make it fun in a video game if you wanted to mechanise the process of counting cards and perfect play. What aspects of blackjack that are not the real game of blackjack do you think would make for a fun experience?

I want to tell a story of someone learning about counting cards, with game mechanics about that system. I want the player to feel a similar feeling as depicted in films where they are beating the system.

any input would be greatly appreciated
