Counting under the table

Is this weird? Does anybody else do this?
I keep the count on my right hand under the table most of the time. I never forget or miss count like this. And I just use my left hand to bet. I still sometimes bring my other hand up if I’m pretty confident or whatever is a casual hand under the table thing, like a hand in my lap.
I know it’s better if I could just do it without it, but I have some focusing issues when not doing it. I am fairly new to counting, lots of practice hours but not there yet.
