Are the machines better than live dealers? Anyone have a preference?
Post Body

Hey guys. Somehow I have never been on a table before.. Visited Vegas last fall and then WinStar 3 weeks ago. Iโ€™m going back next week.

The machines just seem more fun. I played one machine that had the option to switch between roulette and blackjack.

Was able to put my headphones on and relax to some jazz for about 4 hours. Started with $200 and left with $550!

The machine also showed the most recent numbers for roulette and colors. It showed red had hit 9 times in a row. Two black and then more red. So needless to say I started betting heavy on red and was winning.

Blackjack was more profitable though in the long run.

Now being a big James Bond fan the tables look badass in the films.

I gotta say the $20 and $50 minimums just seem like a fast way to lose money. Unless youโ€™re betting big and have thousands.

The machines were only $2-$5 minimums. You put $50-$100 down and could easily be there for hours.

Any tips or tricks for a rookie? If a table is $20 minimum how much should I put down to start with?

Any strategies? Is it just better to ultimately stick with the $5 minimum machines?
