Hey! I’m f17 and I’m half black half Native American. I grew up in a small white town and I grew up not knowing how to manage my hair. I was not raised by my mother nor father, therefore put in the care of my non-black grandparents. I love them for everything they’ve done but they don’t know how to do my hair so we are all kinda in the dark… I don’t know how to do my hair and no matter how much I watch YouTube videos I still don’t grasp onto the idea of HOW to do it. Now that I’m getting older I’m wanting to express myself more through my hair and other looks.. and In the process I’m slowly realizing that there’s…some things that my hair is not meant for. Iv cut my hair so much but when I get it to grow out and try to do extensions I get frustrated when it doesn’t work and cut it all off again. Iv looked into the idea of wigs but now I think that I’ll get made fun of, or do it wrong and look weird- I need advise.. I want to embrace more of my black beauty instead of living a lie of thinking my BLACK hair is WHITE. When it’s not. <3
