Gonna get hate but I don't care.
This game was fun when you were motivated to grind for your next upgrade because a guild dec killed you, or it felt good to feel your progress in pvp.
And the game was at its prime then. Hell, even in 2017-2018-2019 it felt as though the game was more alive, and they didn't need even need to bait people to log in by giving away free shit like hammers.
Now? Pvp mostly dead (after several iterations of NW reworks), 150 man alliances (yes this negatively impacts pvp), removing the blackrobe NPC, and the final nail in the coffin: removing guild decs.
They keep dishing out pearl sale after pearl sale buy 1 get 1 free , step up Gamba boxes, and now they inject the economy with 40b silver per player (more if you succeeded your Hammer taps).
What even is the point if you didn't earn your upgrade? It's no better than a casino of addicts spinning slots.
And even if you do get your upgrades, what then? Grind the next zone in circles? For most people, endgame was pvp, which is desperately lacking in content.
Game needs serious revamps or some sort of objective for players to strive for, because it feels like the player population has dwindled significantly and this was most apparent after the guild dec changes.
You'll know it's the end of a game's life cycle when they start introducing schoolgirl uniforms, free shit of ridiculous value, and soonโข gunner class.
