I just got a blackberry bold 9650 for work, how do I get the most out of it?

Sorry, I haven't read the manual or done any real research yet. This is the first smartphone I've had to use, so any pointers are appreciated. I've just finished linking it to my gmail account and I'm trying to figure out how to get google tasks to work, but I haven't really done anything else with it yet.

What should I be using to manage email and scheduling if my main accounts are currently handled with gmail/google?

What should I be using as a web browser?

What are the best apps to get?

Can I / how do I best use the blackberry as a modem? Will this incur additional fees, etc? (Don't think the account mentions anything about it)
