Been training for about 2 months. Every class I get gassed out (I’m the only one) and have to sit out for a bit. It’s kind of embarrassing but whatever. I’m over being super embarrassed because everyone is cool.
I’m not overweight or out of shape at all. And then I see people there kinda overweight and don’t look to be in great shape rolling around and killing it. Which is awesome to see. I hate comparing myself but it’s getting frustrating. I wanna get better. I’m learning great techniques and having fun but not able to apply them completely because of my gas tank.
Should I slow down? It’s difficult to tell if I’m going to hard. I’m just doing it and getting super tired. And it’s so much more fun when I’m able to go a bit longer on occasions. I tell myself before each class to try and chill out a little during rolls.
Is this what y’all are saying is the white belt spazzyness? Haha. Anyone have this experience as a beginner? If so, what helped you not gas out so fast? Or stop the spazzy rolling?
