Post Body

I have been training for 4.5 years am currently a 26 year old purple Belt. First two years trained daily 2 times a week twice a day. Next two years I trained six days a week daily, last 6 months 3 times a week due to work and life... My level is good, I am at the top of the food chain in my gym. Only competed once and mostly did bjj for fun, but am looking to make it a career goal and open my own school in the future. Before doing this I was to become competitive in the bjj world. My question is if I start training full time could I be competitive win top tournaments or at 26 I'm "too old" both as purple, brown and even black? The reason I am asking as most top competitors start at 10-16 rather than at 21. Also how much training would it take to become a high level competitor?
