Edit: I am so sorry I did not even put my location in here. I really apologize if I wasted anyone’s time I live in Montreal in Quebec and that’s where I’m looking to try and find a specific gym that is mainly BJJ. Thank you for your understanding on my little hiccup
Hi guys, i’m a woman in her early 30s that has great experience with boxing, and mild experience with Brazilian jiu-jitsu. But I’m looking for a gym that is professional and safe, well maintained. I’m actually quite shy so I find a lot of gyms can be very overwhelming, especially the ones that have very obnoxious male members that make me want to take them on, even though I am more of a submissive type of person I won’t stand for guys being creepy and grabby in these kind of sports. I am also quite fond of Gi’s, and a lot of dojos/gyms don’t really care much for them… I also need to know that the gym is owned by people or a person that cares about their members as I’m not looking to join any type of franchise.
I do hope I’m not posting this in the wrong place. And I’m quite excited to hear any ideas or locations. I’m in the Montreal area and like I said, I would prefer a more personal smaller type gym instead of the typical large scale ones.
Have a great day and thank you
