We always have this funny BJJ session in the garage. She is a purple belt and I do not grapple. I am physically stronger though. But since I do not grapple, I can only bring her to the ground and then I can pin her there. I do not have any BJJ vocabulary beyond that so if I let go of the pin and try something, she will capitalize it and I have to pin her again which is a relaxing situation for her but I am the one pinning her down.
I am unable to break her guard because I have no clue how to. I watched a few videos so I can get out but only ending in something else. We usually bet and she of course wins because she knows a lot of things within the rules of the sport. I would probably have to ground and pound to get out of that mess.
If you are a 200 lbs gorilla who can bench press 250 lbs for reps and squat close to 300, but you know JACK bout grappling, what would be the easiest few things to know in order to beat a high level female BJJ purple belt?
