1 year White belt here. I normally tap very early and dont risk my limbs. Rolling with a purple belt he pushed my lapel over my throat and restricted my breathing. I could still breath but you could hear that it was restricted. I didnât tap right away because it didnât hurt, I could still breathe (although not well), and it wasnât a blood choke so I wasnât gonna go out or anything. I was honestly just seeing if I can visualize how to escape the choke before I just gave in.
Over all it felt like a weak shitty choke, but afterwards he basically told me I need to just tap and gave me the âwhite belts need to learn to tap earlierâ speech. He was kinda looking down on me as a young dumb white belt but I feel like it was just a bad choke.
