I’m currently studying engineering at university and this past year I grew shrooms and did a few DMT extractions.
Since I’m no chemist, I’m looking mainly to do more extractions - perhaps easy synthesis projects too once I take more chemistry classes. Luckily there is really no shortage of stuff I can do.
I can probably budget 1-2k for equipment. I’m just curious the type of equipment you find most versatile and useful. Like for extractions, there’s so many ways to distill, like with a rotary evaporator, vacuum distiller, steam distiller, etc.
Any advice is appreciated.
Buchner funnel, sep funnel, vaccuum pump. Distillation equipment should be somewhat interoperable to some degree. Rotovaps are amazing if you got them but kind of a gimmick if you're not trying to pull sensitive compounds.
