Starter kit questions

Post Body

So I’m going to make a gods honest effort to learn tryptsmine chemistry, then onto phenylethamine, then hopefully MMDA then MDMA synthesis. I know I t’s gonna take some time and im ready for that. I’m experienced in mimosa and cactus extraction. My first step will be ghb synthesis, then onward from there. My humble question is, what’s a good starter lab kit. I have a sep funnel and some flasks/beakers but that’s about it. Where do I start? Thanks

Vacuum filtration setup.

Do you know what's bad?

waves an unlit cigarette around dramatically

Trying to dry all kinds of freshly made sludge chock-full of solvents is bad.

You know what's worse? Trying to refine it with a coffee filter repeatedly until it's actually fit for consumption.

It's doable. We've done it. But everything is just so unbelievably gross and slow and tiring and inexact doing it.

Oh yeah. You need a label printer. Hand written labels are a major source of oopsie woopsies and if you don't label your shit you might as well just take a nice swig of your reducing agent right now cause nothing you do is going anywhere remotely safe or survivable.

PS: IR thermometer and pH strips. But especially the thermometer. Look into whether you write fast enough to take lab notes right away or whether you need to dictate your steps. Use a dedicated device not your phone obviously.

You need to understand what you did and why you did it and how at all times. No Captain America shit.
