Just for some context I was eating lunch in the lgbtq resource room at my school and someone forgot my name and tried to guess it and laughed at herself because she guessed a “generic white boy” name. That is how I prefer to present and I’m aware if it and fine with it but then someone else decided to tell me that “you would be more interesting if you looked gay”.
I’m aware that I don’t exactly look or act the part for a queer guy and going into queer spaces presenting how I normally do runs the risk of people making assumptions about me or comments like that but it still hurt :(
Thanks for reading I just needed to get this out somewhere :)
