Are there sources somewhere or things that helped you get over your internalized bi/homophobia? I’m still having a ridiculously hard time as a religious man trying to love myself when I have years of repression/being told gay/bi people would go to hell and I feel like I can’t tell my extended family that is in the church. Ive told my parents and gotten the standard “its a phase” or “your really straight, this is an attention thing” or my personal favorite “you’re living in sin, (my ex) is NOT the person we prayed for you to marry.” Sorry for rambling (and poor grammar/structure, I am mainly a mobile user), but yeah any help/advice would be appreciated.
