These last few days on Reddit and lurking the threads on here have given me confidence and more reassurance of myself as I've messaged, commented, and even posted about things that are bisexual. It's really been eye opening for me as I read about things I never considered before and how much I don't know about the bisexual community in general given that I was never open about it myself until recently. It's really nice to be able to talk and listen to others who understand where I'm coming from, to various degrees, and learn from others who have accepted themselves for years already.

I made a post about a week ago of how I came to accept myself some months ago and find some pride in being bi, but the only person that personally knows me and that I have come out to up until then is my wife. Since I made that post, I've found support from strangers of Reddit who have messaged me because they are in very similar situations, want to possibly forge a friendship with another bi man because they (like myself) lack someone who they can connect with through conversation about being bi without being asked to mess around on cam or sext, or even through a simple, anonymous upvote. Because of all of this, I found the courage to come out to two more people in my life, both close friends I've know for an extended period of time and I share deep history with growing up. One used to identify as bi when we were in high school and the other is a friend of almost 20 years. They have been nothing but supportive of me and it's a blessing to not need to hide an aspect of my life from them!

I just want to say thanks to all those who have reached out to me on Reddit and that I am grateful to have found this sub, as well as others on here dealing with bisexuality!
