Bi woman here. Recently I've been seeing this huge trend of indiscriminately dunking on men online. Especially from our fellow bi women? It makes me feel like my attraction to men is some kind of a pathological character flaw, and I'm just not "woke enough" to recognise that women are superior (I mean I love women, but –)
I feel conflicted, because I'm all for calling out shitty men and recognise that misogyny is much more systemic and widespread. I'm all for uplifting women with a preference for and in relationships with women. But how is it any way helpful to declare that men and anyone's attraction to them is "gross and yuck"?
Like I'm not disgusted by myself, you know? I'm not disgusted by men or women or enbies. Or rather: I'm equally disgusted by / attracted to everyone LOL
I feel bad and like a total outcast for not "being disgusted". Am I being too sensitive and not getting the humour at all??
