27f in a longterm relationship (3.5 years) with a man. Will probably marry him within the next few years. Iāve always identified as straight and have never done anything with women, but Iāve had something come up recently that has me wondering. I always appreciated attractive women but never had any sexual urges. Always someone who got very very close with girlfriends where we share everything and talk a lot about our sexual experiences with men. My BF and I have talked about the possibilities of 3 ways with women and my getting hallpasses with men, at some point in our future. A friend that has become a closer friend in the past few months is very open about feeling bisexual. She is engaged and happy with her partner, but she told me they have had a 3 way before and she tells him about how she is interested in women but she has never acted on it without him. We both recently admitted that weāve had fantasies about one another. Iāve never had this happen before and donāt know where itās coming from. Iām now picturing her in my sexual fantasies and have told my BF about it bc I feel guilty and like Iām having an identity crisis. He said heād give me a āhallpassā with her unless we have a 4-way with her and her partner. Iām nervous to explore, but feel like if I donāt, Iāll always wonder. Does this mean Iām not straight? Should I do it? How did others find it affected their relationships,or not, to do these things?
