27f in a longterm relationship (3.5 years) with a man. Will probably marry him within the next few years. Iā€™ve always identified as straight and have never done anything with women, but Iā€™ve had something come up recently that has me wondering. I always appreciated attractive women but never had any sexual urges. Always someone who got very very close with girlfriends where we share everything and talk a lot about our sexual experiences with men. My BF and I have talked about the possibilities of 3 ways with women and my getting hallpasses with men, at some point in our future. A friend that has become a closer friend in the past few months is very open about feeling bisexual. She is engaged and happy with her partner, but she told me they have had a 3 way before and she tells him about how she is interested in women but she has never acted on it without him. We both recently admitted that weā€™ve had fantasies about one another. Iā€™ve never had this happen before and donā€™t know where itā€™s coming from. Iā€™m now picturing her in my sexual fantasies and have told my BF about it bc I feel guilty and like Iā€™m having an identity crisis. He said heā€™d give me a ā€œhallpassā€ with her unless we have a 4-way with her and her partner. Iā€™m nervous to explore, but feel like if I donā€™t, Iā€™ll always wonder. Does this mean Iā€™m not straight? Should I do it? How did others find it affected their relationships,or not, to do these things?
