Both of us are guys (I'm bi and he's gay) just for context. So we match up and things seem to be going really well. After about 3 hours of messaging we move to snap chat and talk for 2 more hours. We opened up, shared stories, he flirted a little bit and i flirted a little bit back. He was telling me that he was looking forward to go on dates with me and all that too. I was super super nervous but fought through it because that would've been my very 1st relationship and i didn't want to ruin anything. We'd talked until 2 a.m. Then the next morning we continue to talk for like another 2 hrs. At this point i was mostly excited because i was about to be in my 1st ever relationship. He started flirting again then all of the sudden not even 5 minutes later he asked me if we could just be FRIENDS!!!! Talk about a fucking knife through the heart. Idk y but i said yes because he gave 2 paragraphs worth of an apology and a stupid explanation. I was sooo heart broken i didnt get out of bed till 2 pm. And that's my first experience with tinder....(this all happened yesterday btw).
