These days I find it hard to imagine being intimate sexually or romantically with someone who is monosexual (gay or straight). I want to be around other polysexual people (as in, attracted to more than one gender, not necessarily as in dating multiple people).

It just feels so much easier, like I don't have to censor myself about attraction to people of any particular gender, because they will get it too.

Although, as I write that, I see that I don't "have to" censor my attraction to any particular gender just because someone else doesn't share that, so it is partly an avoidance of conflict or social censure. And challenging norms is always good, but is exhausting.
