I am still figuring out my sexuality at the ripe age of 28. I’ve known that I’m attracted to men and women since I was about 11 years old. But sometimes I get confused when I think about my “type.”
When it comes to men, I’m really attracted to men who have feminine qualities. I had the biggest crush on Adam Lambert when he was on American Idol. I was in middle school back then and didn’t understand that he was very obviously a gay man. But I was obsessed with him. There are many other examples of men I’m extremely attracted to who are gay or just have feminine traits. My current boyfriend has some of these qualities.
And when it comes to women, I’m really only sexually attracted to women who have masculine qualities. (Karlach from BG3 could absolutely ruin me) I find feminine women beautiful but I’m not sexually attracted to them typically.
Is this normal?? Sometimes I wonder I’m mostly attracted to nonbinary or androgynous people but for some reason I feel guilty about it. I’m not trying to offend anyone I’m just confused! (I’m very new to the LGBT community so if i have said something offensive please forgive me and educate me)
