Coming out at work?

I have been reading Dr. Shaw's book, "Bi: the hidden history, culture, and science of bisexuality", and she recommends coming out at work if possible to make bisexuality more visible. I work for a local government agency that celebrates bi visibility month by changing the lobby lights to the bi colors. I don't even know how to go about coming out at work, if it's even appropriate...
