After deciding to embrace and enjoy my bisexuality I picked up Dr. Shaw's book after listening to her interview in the podcast, "Two Bi Guys". I just finished the first chapter where she reviews the history of how we understand bisexuality as a sexual orientation, the Kinsey Scale, the Klein Grid, and then she asks to apply those tools to ourselves and ask us what they mean to us.
I think the Kinsey Scale is very practical in that it describes how I behave. Given my sexual conduct, my fantasies, my porn viewing, and my marriage to my wife, I'm a 2 to 2.5 on the scale.
I think the Klein Grid is really interesting because I'm using it learned something about myself. I learned that I WANT TO BE BISEXUAL. There are the questions about your future ideal and for most of the questions I wan to be equally attracted to men and women and I want to identify as bisexual. That is super affirming.
