Iām currently on holiday with my family, and two nights ago we decided to eat at our hotel restaurant after a long trip. We sat down, our waiter arrived. Jesus, he was stunning, mixed-race and exactly my type. Clean-cut, great smile, smelled great. I couldnāt stop staring. He took our order and then left but would check on us throughout dinner, making small talk with not just me but my family as well. Later, when we decided to stay for drinks, he brought them over and kept offering to refill mine. I politely declined, but he kept insisting, mentioning how it was still early. We decided to back to our room, I was tipsy and seriously tempted to speak to him and ask for his number.
Last night, we went back to the same restaurant for drinks, luckily, he was working again. He greeted my family, started chatting, and asked if I was going to drink. When I said I wasnāt sure, he asked what I liked, and I said tequila. A little later, he returned with a special tequila cocktail, saying it was ājust for meā while smiling and talking some more. I couldnāt help but blush. The confusing part? Two cute girls sat nearby, and he spent a lot of time chatting with them. Maybe heās just great at customer service, or maybe itās just his personality. When guys are āoverly nice,ā I tend to read into it too much and assume they might be into guys, even when theyāre not. Itās tricky because I can tell when girls are flirting back, body language, eye contact, everything. With guys, I stopped making assumptions especially if theyāre just being nice, like how my guy friends are with me. Also, my family doesnāt know Iām into guys so I couldnāt flirt but thatās for a whole other story.
