I (47M) was away with friends this weekend, I've never told anyone I know I'm bi, so none of them know I'm bi. But one of my friends is lesbian, and I decide if I can tell anyone it would be her. We were alone and out of eat shot, and I just came out with it. She was incredibly supportive, and offered me some excellent advice. We talked about a lot of things, and she made me feel so much better about everything. It was very emotional, and I cried with her, it felt so amazing to be able to tell someone and talk about it, and feel a little like myself for a change.
I'm so appreciative to have her as a friend, and now an ally. Now I just need to work up the courage to tell my other friends.
