As some of you may know the recent season of the boys shows off one of the characters bisexuality a little more explicitly than the lines that mention it in the previous seasons. While watching the show myself I actually thought it was nice to see a bi character who was a character not just some sleeps with anything stereotype which was nice, however bigots gonna bigot so I ended up hearing alot of horrible shit about the character and bisexuality throughout the Internet, I brushed it off as homophobes and general bigots until the end of the season.
Spoilers for the end of season 4 of the boys
Frenchie (the aforementioned bi guy) ends the season kissing (and implicitly starting a romantic relationship) with a woman, kimeko. To me this decision made sense but also has an off feeling (can't really explain it, something about bi characters always ending up in hetero-coded relationships)
Anyway after this in the final episode I've been saying bigots say shit like, "Frenchie has been redeemed" or "that kiss was needed since Frenchies relationship with Colin scarred me". It's just upsetting, like I feel like I should've seen this coming but yeah... makes me feel awful for being me :/
Anyway figured I'd share my thoughts somewhere and here would be the best. Thanks for reading
