Are all Bisexual men supposed to switches?

Post Body

Edit: I used Switch wrong, what i mean to ask is "Are all Bisexual men Verses". I asked it like this because my partners used the term switch after i said i'm a top.

At this point i can't tell if I'm just an exception or what. So hello, i'm a Bi man in my early twenties and this is something that has been bothering me. I mostly date either Bi or Straight women or Gay men, and every man i have been intimate with have said they thought i was a switch because i'm bi. My problem with this assumption is that i am top, i have experimented and tried bottoming but it did nothing for me. Everytime i have tried it was an instant turn off, i voice this with most of my male partners but their always surprised. There have also been instances with hookups and one night stands where i don't outright say it, and when they try to top for round two and i say i'm not into bottoming they look offended even saying the same i thought you were a switch because your bi. So i just want to ask other bi men, are we all just supposed to be switches? Am i really an exception with being just a top, or are there more Bisexual men here that either strictly tops or strictly bottoms and not switches.
