Well would you look at that. An entire article about people who come out as lesbian later in life, that doesn't even mention the word bisexual once.

Post Body

There are plenty of men and women who spent their whole life suppressing their sexuality, and I don't want to invalidate anybody's experiences.

But to have an entire article in the New York Times that talks about changing and evolving sexuality, fluidity, new experiences later in life, and to not even mention the word bisexual once feels like a gut punch. It just perpetuates the stereotype that you can have a life full of relationships with one gender, and the moment you start a relationship with the other gender, then that is now your true sexuality.

It's fine if that's the case, but to not even mention bisexual once, or even have the possibility of these people being bisexual when they're having late in life lesbian experiences, seems like erasure.
