I am in my late 40s, married for 14 years and always considered myself heterosexual. About 3 years ago my wife and opened up our marriage to having sexual experiences with other people. My wife finally got to explore her bisexual side and date solo as well as her and I exploring group sex with girls and guys with her only sexually interacting with the guys. I tried dating women solo but it took way too much energy and time away from my wife for my liking. It’s hard for me to casually date women because I am so demisexual. Anyway during this time I began allowing myself to explore my own sexuality. What I came up with is that I am very attracted to dicks but not necessarily guys themselves. I am attracted to people’s personalities but I don’t look at a guy and think he’s hot but if the vibes are right I am attracted to him sexually but not in the same way that I am attracted to women. i definitely like going down on guys and will eventually try bottoming. I’m not interested in topping or receiving oral unless they are female presenting or effeminate. In my experiences I don’t like kissing guys but do so out of necessity just to get to the dick. So I gather from all this I am on the bisexual spectrum. I’m not necessarily big on categorizing myself, I’m just wondering if this line of thinking is common in the bisexual community.
