I’m getting back into dating and I’m realizing I have a problem. I meet somebody, I get excited about them, I like them, they turn me on and suddenly I feel nothing. The spark is just gone and I think it’s tied to my sense of attraction which is extremely fluid. This wasn’t a problem when I was younger and my sex drive was higher. I used to be consistently attracted to somebody through the highs and lows of my changing sexuality, but now that I’m a bit older it’s just so extreme. After a couple weeks it’s just dead, and I can’t seem to get the spark back with somebody once it’s lost. Does anybody else relate to this? Is this problem not related to my sexuality?
