My (29f) bf (31m) of a year broke things off with me after we had a discussion about my sexuality. I’ve just recently started being more confident about who I am and who I’m attracted to so I decided to sit him down and tell him very bluntly that I’m attracted to both men and women. I assured him that I didn’t have feelings for anyone but him but he seemed kind of off after the conversation. Fast forward a week and he asked me to meet him for coffee which struck me as odd, we never meet for coffee lol. He sat me down and told me that he was insecure in our relationship and worried that my bisexuality would lead to infidelity and that he wanted to break things off. I was shocked and started to argue with him but ultimately tried to be mature and just let him make his decision. We haven’t spoken since. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? How did you move on?
