I’ve never posted anything like this but Reddit feels fairly anonymous. I’m 34, cis F, currently identify as straight I guess, although I don’t really ever talk about it. I have only ever dated men, but I’ve always been interested in women on the side I guess? When I was 14, my first sexual experience was with a female friend and it made me feel like my body was on fire in the best way. But that could’ve also been because we were 14 and had raging hormones. I pretty much exclusively watch lesbian videos, and read lesbian intimate stories (sorry idk if certain words are allowed in this thread!)

I would very much like to have experiences with a woman, and would absolutely be interested in dating someone if we got along well and had feelings for each other. WLW relationships also seem so sweet and caring and loving and kind, and I crave that type of relationship. I find myself attracted to more feminine women, on tik tok, or in public, rather than more masc women. I am getting out of a 3 year relationship with a man, and when I am ready to begin dating again, I’d like to include women in my dating pool. Like turning on the men and women option on dating apps. But I guess I don’t know how to?

Do I have to be officially bi or some other label? For me personally, I would be ok seeing where a relationship went and not so hung up on the “what am I” part. But I also want to respect and honor that someone who is out and sure of their identity may not want to be with someone who is just starting to explore hers.

So I guess my ultimate question is, once I’m ready to begin dating again, how do I present myself as open to dating men or women, while also making it clear that I have basically no experience dating women?
