It’s my birthday on the 16th. I’ll be 32. I’m a full time paramedic and I have no money for my birthday. Took everything to pay the bills due to a really Ill-timed event that I had to get me and my wife through. This is the 3rd birthday in a row that I have no money for myself and nothing to do because of it, because the last 2 I was paying for the college for my medic. Trying not to think about it. At least I’ll be with my wife on that day. I don’t even have money to take her on a date. My paycheck next week is going all towards rent and bills, and it’ll be the first full check in a while now that things are getting straightened out, but I have absolutely nothing in the bank until then, and after bills I’ll have nothing again. It’ll be the check after that where I can finally not worry about food or what I can do for my wife. Sorry to rant, I just wish I didn’t have this stress on my birthday for the third time in a row. I’m looking forward to seeing others with my birthday tomorrow!
